Rapid Response under Pressure Valve Repair
HVL was called in to assist Thames Water with an unknown leaking valve at Beverley Way London. The leak was causing major issues with the residents and authorities. Due to location and demand Thames Water could not isolate the line to carry out a traditional rope repack, and the pressure was too high to carry this out live. HVL Solutions attended site and conducted a live HVL-VR Under-Pressure repack without causing any disturbance to the end user. After speaking to the client, the only other option to repair this leak was to Line Stop at a cost of £60,000 plus with excavations/reinstatement, traffic management, TFL cost.
